ConsentLedger

ConsentLedger is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps organizations document, verify, and audit consent and data provenance used for AI training and evaluation. Teams upload datasets or connect data sources, then generate a traceable “consent ledger” that records where data came from, what permissions exist, retention limits, and allowed model uses. It produces regulator- and customer-ready reports (GDPR/CCPA-style) and flags high-risk gaps like missing consent, ambiguous licenses, or scraped content with unclear rights. It’s not a magical compliance shield: it won’t fix bad data practices or guarantee legal safety. But it will reduce chaos, shorten security reviews, and make AI governance concrete by turning messy spreadsheets into a consistent, searchable system of record. It also supports vendor due diligence by letting partners share a limited, signed proof bundle without exposing raw data.
