ConsentRadius
ConsentRadius is a mobile app that helps people communicate personal-space boundaries in shared environments (gyms, events, offices, transit) without confrontation. Users choose a simple “distance preference” and interaction rules (e.g., no shoulder taps, ask before hugging, don’t stand behind me in lines). The app generates a lock-screen card and optional QR code that others can scan to see your preferences instantly. For groups, it offers a quick “room norms” page organizers can share before meetups. It’s intentionally low-tech: no constant tracking, no creepy proximity alerts, and no pretending it can enforce behavior. The goal is to reduce misunderstandings and give anxious or neurodivergent users a clear, socially acceptable way to set expectations. It also includes short scripts for politely asserting boundaries in the moment.
