ConsentSync

ConsentSync is a web app (with optional mobile patient link) that standardizes, stores, and enforces patient consent for healthcare data sharing across EHRs, HIEs, labs, and third-party apps. Instead of each integration reinventing consent logic, ConsentSync acts as a consent “source of truth” with auditable policies mapped to common exchange patterns (FHIR APIs, HL7 v2 feeds, CCDAs). It provides a lightweight consent capture workflow, supports granular scopes (data types, recipients, purpose of use, time bounds), and exposes an API that integration engines and apps can call at runtime to allow/deny data release. It also generates compliance-ready audit trails and change history. This is a traditional app with selective AI: AI helps classify incoming requests (purpose/recipient) and flags risky mismatches, but does not make final decisions. Realistically, sales cycles are slow and compliance requirements are heavy, but the pain is real.
