ConsentSync
ConsentSync is a web app (with optional mobile patient portal) that standardizes, stores, and enforces patient consent across interoperability workflows. It generates machine-readable consent artifacts (FHIR Consent + IHE BPPC/APPC-style metadata) and attaches them to outbound data sharing events (FHIR APIs, HL7 v2 feeds, CCD/C-CDA exports). The product focuses on the unglamorous reality: most orgs have fragmented consent capture (paper, EHR-specific flags, portal checkboxes) and can’t reliably prove what was allowed, when, and for which purpose of use. ConsentSync provides a central consent registry, policy rules, and an audit trail that downstream systems can query in real time. It includes a lightweight integration layer (SMART-on-FHIR app + webhook/API) to minimize EHR customization. This is a traditional app with selective AI assistance for consent form summarization and discrepancy detection, not “AI magic.”
