ConseqMap

ConseqMap is a web + mobile AI-assisted decision tool that forces second-order thinking in under 10 minutes. You enter a decision (e.g., “cut support headcount” or “raise prices 8%”), pick a context template (startup, ops, product, personal finance), and the app generates a consequence map: first-order outcomes, second-order ripple effects, stakeholders impacted, and time horizons. It then asks pointed follow-up questions to reduce hand-wavy assumptions and lets you attach evidence (links, metrics, notes). Finally, it produces a one-page “Decision Brief” with risks, leading indicators to monitor, and pre-mortem failure scenarios. This is not a generic journaling app; it’s a structured workflow designed to make you confront downstream effects, tradeoffs, and feedback loops. Expect it to be most valuable for recurring decisions and post-mortems, not one-off life choices.
