ConsignCalc is a mobile + web app that helps sellers decide whether consigning an item is actually worth it. You enter an item (brand, category, condition, size) and either scan a barcode or upload photos/receipt. The app estimates realistic resale price ranges using recent sold comps and then simulates payouts across local consignment shops and online consignment services based on their fee schedules, shipping costs, and typical discounting behavior. It outputs a clear “keep/sell/consign/donate” recommendation, plus a breakeven price and expected time-to-sell. You can save a closet inventory, batch-evaluate items, and export a “consignment intake sheet” with photos and notes to speed drop-offs. This is not a magic money machine; it’s a decision tool that prevents people from wasting time consigning low-value items and getting disappointed by tiny payouts.
