ContinuitySnap

ContinuitySnap is a mobile + web app for indie film crews to prevent continuity errors (wardrobe, props, blocking, eyelines, set dressing) that cause expensive reshoots or awkward edits. On set, the script supervisor or PA takes quick reference photos and 5–10 second “continuity clips” per setup, tags them to scene/take, and adds structured notes (prop position, actor hand, glass fill level, jacket unzipped, etc.). The app auto-organizes everything into a searchable timeline and generates a shareable continuity board for the director, DP, and editor. An AI layer flags likely mismatches by comparing the current reference to the previous matching shot (e.g., necklace missing, hair part swapped, cup level changed) and highlights what changed, but it’s positioned as assistive—not “magic”—because lighting and angles can fool models. Export bundles (PDF + image sets + CSV) plug into post workflows so editors can quickly verify continuity during assembly. The goal is simple: reduce preventable continuity mistakes without adding heavy overhead or requiring expensive on-set systems.
