ContinuityX is a web + desktop app (Electron) that acts as a continuity and logic checker for screenplays. You import a Fountain/Final Draft export, then the app builds a structured timeline of scenes, props, wardrobe, injuries, locations, time-of-day, and character knowledge. It flags continuity breaks (e.g., a character’s wound switching sides, a prop appearing before it’s introduced, impossible travel times, conflicting dates, or a character referencing info they couldn’t know yet). It also generates a clean “continuity bible” PDF for production and a change log that shows what broke after each rewrite. This is an AI-assisted app: AI extracts entities and suggests likely issues, but you confirm/override with simple controls so it doesn’t hallucinate decisions. It’s aimed at reducing expensive reshoots and embarrassing errors rather than “writing your script for you.”
