ControlLedger

ControlLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for small and mid-sized companies that need internal controls to actually run, not just exist in a binder. It maps controls to processes, owners, and systems, then turns day-to-day work into audit-ready evidence with minimal friction. Users create a control once, set frequency, required evidence types, and approvers. The app collects proof via lightweight integrations (Google Drive/SharePoint, Jira, GitHub, HRIS exports) and a structured upload flow with timestamps and immutable logs. It flags missed control executions, incomplete evidence, and stale policies, and produces clean auditor packets by period. An AI assistant helps draft control descriptions, suggests evidence checklists, and summarizes exceptions—but it does not “invent” compliance. This is realistic, boring software that saves time, reduces audit fees, and prevents last-minute fire drills.
