ControlSnap is a web app (with optional lightweight desktop agent) that continuously collects, timestamps, and packages audit evidence for common frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. Instead of chasing screenshots and one-off exports, it pulls system logs and configuration proofs from core tools (cloud, identity, ticketing, endpoint, code, and backups) on a schedule, then maps each artifact to specific controls. It generates “audit-ready” evidence packets with immutable hashes, change history, and reviewer notes so you can answer auditor requests fast and consistently. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional connectors and evidence vaulting, plus AI to draft narratives, detect missing evidence, and flag control drift. Realistically, it won’t replace your GRC platform; it’s a focused evidence automation layer that reduces audit thrash and last-minute fire drills.
