CookieCut is a browser-based web app/extension that automatically handles cookie banners and consent popups with a strict, user-defined privacy policy. Instead of asking you to click “Reject all” a hundred times, it detects consent dialogs, selects the minimum necessary options, and logs what was chosen per site. It also flags suspicious patterns (e.g., “legitimate interest” pre-checks, confusing toggles, forced accept flows) and provides a one-click complaint packet you can export for GDPR/CCPA requests. Realistically, this won’t be perfect: banners vary wildly, some sites will break, and you’ll need occasional per-site overrides. But for privacy-conscious users and teams, it saves time, reduces tracking, and makes consent choices consistent across browsing sessions.
