CookieProof is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) that continuously audits your website’s cookie/consent behavior against GDPR/ePrivacy expectations. It crawls key pages, records network calls, detects cookies and localStorage writes before/after consent, and flags “consent bypass” issues, dark-pattern risks, and vendor leaks. It generates evidence-grade reports (timestamped HAR files, screenshots, and a plain-English summary) you can hand to legal, your CMP vendor, or an auditor. It also monitors changes: if marketing adds a new tag or a vendor updates scripts, you get alerts and a diff of what changed. This is not a magic compliance stamp—just a practical, repeatable way to catch the most common, fine-triggering mistakes that teams miss when they rely on manual spot checks.
