CookieTriage is a web app (with an optional lightweight browser extension) that helps small and mid-sized websites implement consent and tracking the way regulators actually expect—not the way most banners pretend. It scans your site for trackers (scripts, pixels, tags, iframes), maps them to vendors and purposes, and generates a consent configuration that blocks non-essential tracking until opt-in. It also stores tamper-evident consent logs and versioned banner text so you can show what users saw at the time. The product focuses on practical compliance: clear defaults, region-aware behavior (GDPR/UK, ePrivacy, CPRA), and easy integrations with Google Tag Manager and common CMS platforms. It won’t magically make you “fully compliant” (no tool can), but it will drastically reduce the most common, high-risk mistakes: firing marketing tags before consent, missing vendor disclosures, and having no defensible records.
