CookieTruce is a browser extension that auto-handles cookie consent banners and privacy popups across the web with predictable, user-controlled outcomes. Instead of “accept all” dark patterns or brittle one-off rules, it uses a maintained ruleset plus optional on-device AI to detect common consent frameworks (IAB TCF, OneTrust, Cookiebot, etc.) and click the option you choose: reject non-essential, accept minimal, or custom per site. It keeps a transparent log of what was clicked and why, and lets you quickly override decisions when a site breaks. The extension also blocks repeated consent re-prompts by clearing and reapplying your preference in a controlled way, without nuking all cookies. Realistically, it won’t work perfectly on every site and some publishers will fight it, but it can eliminate the majority of interruptions for everyday browsing.
