CoopLedger is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps cooperatives track member shares, patronage allocations, and governance records in a way that’s auditable and easy to explain to members. Most co-ops still rely on spreadsheets, email threads, and a part-time treasurer’s memory—until an audit, leadership change, or dispute exposes gaps. CoopLedger provides a simple member registry, capital account tracking, patronage calculation workflows, and a board-ready reporting pack. It also includes a voting/meeting module for recording resolutions, quorum, and member communications, keeping governance and finances linked. This is a traditional app with optional AI assistance for importing messy historical spreadsheets and generating plain-language member statements. It’s not flashy, but it addresses recurring administrative pain that co-ops can’t ignore once they grow past a small circle.
