CoopMeter is a web + mobile app for community energy groups that need to allocate shared generation (community solar, microgrids, shared batteries) fairly and transparently. It ingests interval meter data from utilities/aggregators, applies configurable allocation rules (fixed shares, income-based discounts, time-of-use weighting), and generates member statements that explain credits in plain language. It also handles the unglamorous work: onboarding members, collecting consent, tracking eligibility, and producing audit-ready reports for regulators and grant programs. This is not a “gamified savings” app; it’s operational software for people trying to keep a community energy project from collapsing under spreadsheets and disputes. The MVP focuses on one region/utility integration first, because data access is the real bottleneck. Monetization is B2B SaaS paid by cooperatives, municipalities, and project operators per meter/member.
