CopayRadar

CopayRadar is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps patients and caregivers lower prescription costs by showing realistic out-of-pocket prices across insurance, cash-pay, discount cards, and manufacturer assistance. Users scan a prescription label or type the drug, dose, and quantity, then enter their insurance basics (or skip) to see a ranked list of options: nearby pharmacies, mail-order, therapeutic equivalents (when appropriate), and available assistance programs with eligibility hints. The AI layer explains tradeoffs in plain language (e.g., “cash price is lower than your copay because deductible hasn’t been met”) and generates a step-by-step checklist to actually get the savings (what to ask the pharmacist, what to request from the doctor, what documents to prepare). It also tracks refill timing and alerts when prices change or a better option appears. The goal is not “coupon hype,” but fewer surprises at the counter.
