CoralCalib
CoralCalib is a mobile + web app for reef and marine aquarium keepers who struggle with stability: alkalinity swings, dosing confusion, and inconsistent test results. It combines a structured testing workflow with a dosing “sanity checker” that flags impossible readings, unit mistakes, and risky adjustment plans before you dump chemicals into the tank. You log tests (ALK, Ca, Mg, NO3, PO4), water changes, and dosing; the app then estimates consumption trends and suggests conservative, stepwise corrections with guardrails (max daily change limits, dilution warnings, and compatibility notes). Optional AI helps interpret messy notes and photos of test kits to reduce transcription errors, but the core value works without AI. It’s brutally practical: fewer graphs, more “do this today, then re-test” checklists. The goal is preventing the most common cause of coral loss—instability—without pretending it can magically diagnose everything.
