CorpusClip
CorpusClip is a web app (with optional browser extension) that lets linguistics students, researchers, and language professionals quickly assemble small, high-quality corpora from the open web and their own documents. Users define a topic, register, dialect region, and time window; the app then collects candidate texts, de-duplicates, strips boilerplate, and produces a transparent dataset with citations, metadata, and export formats (CSV/JSON/CoNLL-U). It includes basic concordance, keyword-in-context, collocation, and frequency tools so users can validate what they collected before exporting. An AI assistant helps propose search queries, detect near-duplicates, flag likely non-native/translated text, and suggest metadata labels—but every decision is auditable and reversible. The focus is not “magic analysis,” but saving hours of tedious cleaning and documentation while keeping research defensible.
