CorridorKit
CorridorKit is a web + mobile field app that helps conservation teams design and validate wildlife corridors that can actually be implemented. It combines a lightweight GIS planner (web) with a field verification workflow (mobile) to turn “nice map ideas” into landowner-ready corridor proposals. Users draw candidate routes, import parcel boundaries, roads, fences, and known conflict points, then generate a prioritized corridor plan with cost/feasibility notes. In the field, staff can log barriers (culverts, gates, wire types), capture photos, and record quick habitat quality scores offline. An AI component summarizes field notes, flags missing evidence, and drafts a one-page corridor brief tailored for landowners or local councils. This is not a replacement for full enterprise GIS; it’s a practical, faster layer focused on corridor implementation and stakeholder communication.
