CorridorOps
CorridorOps is a web app (with optional mobile field companion) that helps conservation teams move from “maps in a report” to an actionable, defensible wildlife-corridor pipeline. Users upload or connect GIS layers (land cover, roads, parcels, protected areas, species observations) and the app produces ranked corridor segments with clear rationale: connectivity gain, threat level, landowner complexity, and estimated implementation cost. An AI assistant drafts grant-ready narratives, stakeholder briefs, and monitoring plans based on the selected corridor and evidence layers. The brutal reality: most corridor projects stall because data is scattered, prioritization is political, and reporting is time-consuming. CorridorOps doesn’t pretend to replace ecological expertise; it standardizes the workflow, makes assumptions explicit, and creates auditable outputs that funders and agencies can scrutinize. It’s built for small teams with limited GIS capacity who still need credible, repeatable decisions.
