CostClutch

CostClutch is a mobile + web app that calculates your true total cost of ownership per month and per mile using your actual driving and spending, not generic averages. It connects to your bank/credit cards to auto-categorize fuel, charging, insurance, maintenance, parking, tolls, and car payments, then lets you confirm or fix mislabels. You can also log odometer readings (or import from connected car/OBD) to normalize costs by mileage. The app projects upcoming big-ticket expenses (tires, brakes, registration renewals) and shows a simple “runway” view: how much this car will likely cost you over the next 12 months if nothing changes. It’s brutally transparent about uncertainty, flags missing data, and won’t pretend it can predict your future perfectly. The goal is to help owners decide whether to keep, sell, refinance, or downgrade based on real numbers.
