CountyPatch

CountyPatch is a web + mobile app that helps residents and property owners in unincorporated areas figure out which agency is responsible for a problem and how to get it resolved. Unincorporated life is confusing: roads, grading, animal control, septic, code enforcement, wildfire mitigation, and permits can fall under county departments, special districts, or state agencies. The app uses parcel/APN and GPS to map jurisdiction boundaries, overlays special districts, and provides a single “report/ask” flow that routes issues to the right office with the right forms and contact channels. It also tracks status with reminders and stores a property’s key documents (permits, inspections, well/septic records) in one place. This is not glamorous, but it’s practical: fewer dead-end calls, fewer rejected submissions, and faster answers for people who don’t have a city hall to lean on.
