CourierPatch

CourierPatch is a web + mobile app that helps small and mid-sized retailers and DTC brands rescue same-day and express deliveries when their primary carrier misses pickups, caps capacity, or has service outages. It connects merchants to a curated pool of local courier fleets and independent drivers, but only for “exception” loads: late orders, VIP customers, perishable items, and store-to-door rushes. The app auto-creates a shipment from Shopify/Woo/OMS, broadcasts it to nearby courier partners, and returns a guaranteed pickup window and live tracking link for the customer. It also handles proof-of-delivery, photo capture, and simple claims workflows. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used to predict which orders are likely to miss SLA and to recommend the cheapest courier option that still meets the promised ETA. Realistically, the hard part is operations and partner quality, not code.
