Users answer a guided questionnaire, and the app generates a jurisdiction-specific checklist, plain-language explanations, and a filing calendar with deadlines and reminders. It also produces a “hearing packet” organizer: what documents to bring, how to label exhibits, and what to expect in the courtroom. CourtReady focuses on common, high-volume matters (small claims, landlord-tenant responses, simple name changes, basic restraining order paperwork) and clearly flags when the situation is too complex and a lawyer is needed. It does not provide legal advice; it provides procedural help, document organization, and links to official forms and court resources. Monetization is straightforward: subscription for reminders/organizer, plus one-time paid “case packs” per court type.
