CovenantIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps employees and contractors quickly assess non-compete, non-solicit, and confidentiality agreement risk before changing jobs. Users upload their agreement(s), answer a short questionnaire (role, geography, industry, customer contact, planned next employer), and receive a plain-English risk brief: what clauses matter, what triggers enforcement, and what practical steps reduce exposure (e.g., carve-outs, notice wording, limiting client outreach). It also generates a “lawyer-ready packet” summarizing key facts and extracted clauses so an employment attorney can respond faster and cheaper. This is not a law firm and won’t pretend to give definitive legal advice; it’s a triage and organization tool that reduces uncertainty and prevents dumb, avoidable mistakes. Realistically, it won’t stop a determined employer, but it can help users avoid walking into obvious traps.
