CovenantIQ

CovenantIQ is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps impact investors and fund managers manage, monitor, and evidence impact-related covenants and reporting obligations across portfolio companies. Instead of generic ESG dashboards, it focuses on the unglamorous but painful work: who promised what, by when, with what metric definition, and what proof is acceptable. Users create covenant templates (e.g., jobs created, emissions avoided, patient outcomes), assign them to deals, and collect evidence via structured forms, file uploads, and API pulls (accounting, HRIS, energy, or health systems where possible). An AI layer flags missing data, inconsistent definitions, suspicious jumps, and “metric drift” over time, then drafts investor-ready updates. It also produces audit trails and versioned metric definitions so you can defend numbers during LP reviews. Reality check: integrations will be messy; the product wins by making partial compliance still manageable and defensible.
