CovenantKit

CovenantKit is a web app (with optional Excel add-in) that helps project finance teams track, calculate, and evidence debt covenants and reporting obligations across SPVs. Users upload the financing agreement, model outputs, and monthly financials; the app extracts covenant definitions, builds a calculation template, and produces a lender-ready compliance certificate with an audit trail. It also maintains a calendar of deliverables (DSCR tests, reserve account checks, insurance renewals, technical reports) and flags missing inputs or ambiguous definitions that commonly cause disputes. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used to parse legal text and map it to data requirements, but calculations are deterministic and transparent. The product is intentionally narrow: covenant compliance and reporting, not full deal origination or full portfolio management. It reduces late-night spreadsheet firefighting and prevents expensive “oops” moments with lenders.
