CoverRights is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that helps small creators legally release karaoke tracks and song covers without getting lost in licensing jargon. Users search a song, pick their release type (audio cover, karaoke instrumental, YouTube, streaming), and the app generates a realistic checklist: which rights are needed, where to request them, expected costs, and what you can and can’t monetize. It auto-fills common forms, drafts emails, tracks responses, and stores proof-of-permission in a “release folder” you can share with distributors. AI is used to translate legal/rights language into plain English, detect missing steps, and flag risky assumptions (e.g., sync vs mechanical). This won’t magically “grant” licenses—incumbents and publishers still control that—but it reduces the time, mistakes, and anxiety that cause most creators to either give up or publish illegally.
