CoverScope

CoverScope is a mobile + web app that builds brutally accurate network coverage and performance maps from opt-in, on-device measurements. Instead of relying on carrier marketing maps, it collects anonymized signal, throughput, latency, and packet-loss samples tagged to location, time, device model, and network type (LTE/5G/NSA/SA). Users can search any address, route, or neighborhood and see confidence-scored coverage, indoor vs outdoor likelihood, and “peak vs off-peak” performance. A lightweight “trip mode” records along commutes and hikes, and a web dashboard lets teams export reports for site selection, field operations, or customer support. It’s realistic: early maps will be sparse, so the app clearly shows data density and avoids pretending to know what it doesn’t. Monetization is freemium for consumers, with paid tiers for businesses needing exports, alerts, and SLA-style reporting.
