CptyProof is a web app (with optional desktop uploader) that helps finance teams run fast, repeatable counterparty due diligence and ongoing monitoring without building a full risk platform. It centralizes KYC/AML documents, credit support annex (CSA) terms, exposure limits, and operational red flags into a single “counterparty dossier.” The app pulls structured signals from public filings, sanctions/PEP lists, and news, then lets users log internal events like failed settlements, margin disputes, or covenant breaches. A rules engine triggers alerts when exposures exceed limits, documentation is stale, or negative events stack up. An AI layer summarizes new information into a short risk memo and highlights what changed since the last review, but the final risk rating remains user-controlled to avoid black-box decisions. Realistically, it wins by being lightweight, auditable, and quick to deploy.
