CPWatchdog
CPWatchdog is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that continuously monitors counterparties and flags rising default/settlement risk early. It pulls signals from financial statements, credit ratings, payment behavior, news, sanctions/PEP lists, and market indicators (CDS spreads, equity volatility where available), then converts them into a simple risk score with explainable drivers. Users set exposure limits per counterparty, map entities to ultimate parents, and get alerts when risk thresholds are breached or when concentration risk spikes. It also generates audit-ready reports for risk committees and regulators, including “why now” narratives and a timeline of key events. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used for entity resolution, news/event extraction, and summarization; deterministic rules handle limits, approvals, and reporting. It’s not magic—data gaps and false positives will happen—but it’s far better than quarterly spreadsheet reviews.
