CraftCoach

CraftCoach is a mobile + tablet app that guides kids through hands-on arts and crafts using short, step-by-step videos and an optional camera “check-in” mode. Kids pick a project based on what they have at home (paper, glue, recyclables), then follow along. If they enable the camera, the app can flag obvious issues like missing steps (e.g., “you skipped folding”) and suggest simple fixes. Parents get a materials list, mess level estimate, and time-to-finish so they can approve projects quickly. The app focuses on realistic, low-cost crafts rather than Pinterest-perfect builds that frustrate families. It also includes printable templates and a progress badge system that rewards completion, not perfection. Safety is built in: no public chat, no open social feed, and strict content curation.
