CrateRoute

CrateRoute is a web + mobile app for exhibition teams to manage the unglamorous but failure-prone part of shows: packing, shipping, receiving, and condition checks. It creates a single chain-of-custody record per artwork and per crate, with barcode/QR scanning, photo-based condition reports, and step-by-step checklists for pack-out and install-day receiving. Staff and contractors can work offline in loading docks and storage rooms, then sync when connected. The app generates standardized PDFs for lenders, insurers, and couriers, and flags missing items, late crates, and unresolved condition issues before they become expensive disputes. This is not a “pretty wall layout” tool; it’s operational control for real-world exhibition logistics where mistakes cost money and relationships.
