CraveCompass

CraveCompass is a mobile AI-assisted intuitive eating companion focused on one high-friction moment: cravings that feel confusing, urgent, or guilt-loaded. Instead of food logging, it uses 60–90 second check-ins that capture context (sleep, stress, cycle, movement, social setting), body cues (hunger/fullness, tension, energy), and emotion labels. The app then suggests a small set of evidence-informed “next best” options: eat the craved food mindfully, add a balancing component, try a non-food need first, or plan a satisfying meal soon—without moralizing. Over time it builds a personal “craving map” showing patterns (e.g., afternoon sugar after poor sleep) and teaches skills via micro-lessons and experiments. It also includes a clinician mode for dietitians/therapists to review summaries (not raw diaries) to support clients while staying aligned with intuitive eating principles.
