CredCheck is a web app (with optional mobile viewer) that lets employers, licensing bodies, and training providers verify certificates, micro-credentials, and course completions in minutes. Schools and bootcamps upload credential records (CSV/API), issue a signed verification link/QR, and set what data is shareable. Verifiers paste a link or scan a QR to confirm authenticity, status (valid/revoked), and key metadata (issuer, date, program, grade/pass). The product focuses on the messy middle-market that can’t justify building custom verification systems but is tired of manual transcript requests. It includes basic fraud signals (duplicate IDs, suspicious issuer domains, altered PDFs) and an audit trail for compliance. Be aware: selling into education is slow and trust is hard to earn, so the MVP must be dead simple, cheap, and clearly reduce admin workload from day one.
