CrewLine is a web and mobile app that replaces chaotic WhatsApp threads, email chains, and messy spreadsheets used to schedule cast and crew on indie and low-budget film sets. Producers and 1st ADs can create a project, import a call sheet template, and assign people to scenes, locations, and days with clear availability tracking. Each crew member gets a personalized schedule, last‑minute change alerts, and a simple way to confirm or decline calls. The app focuses on real-world film set constraints: split days, night shoots, union rules, travel time between locations, and overlapping gigs. Instead of trying to be an all‑in‑one production suite, CrewLine does one thing well: making sure the right people show up at the right place and time, with minimal back‑and‑forth. It’s an AI‑assisted traditional app: AI helps suggest optimal schedules and flag conflicts, but humans stay in control. It’s intentionally pragmatic, not glamorous: this is built to reduce stress and avoid costly overruns, not to win design awards.
