CrisisBridge

CrisisBridge is a mobile app (with an optional web portal for clinicians) that helps people with PTSD and trauma build and use a practical “in-the-moment” crisis plan when they’re triggered. Users pre-build a personalized protocol: grounding steps, sensory tools, safe contacts, medication reminders (non-prescriptive), and environment checks (e.g., “leave the room,” “find a wall,” “drink water”). When a flashback hits, the app switches to an ultra-simple, low-reading “panic mode” interface with big buttons, audio guidance, and one-tap contact options. It also logs what happened (time, intensity, what helped) with minimal friction, so patterns can be reviewed later with a therapist. It is not therapy and doesn’t pretend to cure PTSD; it’s a safety-and-function tool designed for real-world use when cognition is impaired.
