CrisisBridge

CrisisBridge is a mobile + web app that helps people in acute distress move from “I can’t cope” to a concrete, safer next step in under 3 minutes. It’s not therapy and it won’t pretend to replace clinicians. The app guides users through a short, evidence-informed check-in (risk, intent, access to means, supports), then generates a simple action plan: grounding steps, one-tap contact to a trusted person, and location-based options (988, local crisis lines, walk-in centers, ER guidance). For users who opt in, it can share a brief “status card” with a chosen contact (what’s happening, what helps, what to do). It also includes a post-crisis follow-up flow (next-day check-in, scheduling prompts, and a safety plan builder). The goal is to reduce decision paralysis and time-to-support during high-risk moments, without overpromising outcomes.
