CrisisBrief

CrisisBrief is a serious-game web app for practicing high-stakes decision-making in realistic scenarios: ransomware in a hospital, product contamination, PR scandals, workplace violence threats, and natural-disaster operations. Players take timed actions (notify, contain, communicate, escalate), manage limited resources, and face branching outcomes driven by evidence and trade-offs. After each run, it generates a debrief: what you missed, which decisions increased risk, and how to improve next time. The app supports solo play and team tabletop mode for managers, with facilitator controls and a replay timeline for post-mortems. This is not a “fun game”; it’s a training tool disguised as a game, designed to fit into 30–45 minute sessions. Content packs are industry-specific (healthcare, retail, SaaS, manufacturing) and can be updated as threats evolve.
