CrisisProof is a mobile + web app that helps local NGOs and mutual-aid groups verify urgent needs (food, shelter, medical, transport) with minimal data collection. Field workers create a case in under two minutes, attach lightweight evidence (photo of document, geotag, short note), and request a second-party verification from a trusted network (other NGOs, clinics, community leaders). The system flags duplicates, suspicious patterns, and repeat requests across organizations without requiring a centralized identity database. Beneficiaries get a simple SMS/WhatsApp status update and a pickup/appointment code. This is not a “feel-good” donation app; it’s operational tooling to reduce fraud, speed triage, and improve accountability. It will require careful onboarding, clear data retention rules, and real partnerships—otherwise it’s useless. Start with one city/region and one aid type to avoid boiling the ocean.
