CrispCal

CrispCal is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that acts like a calibration guide for air fryers, which are notoriously inconsistent across brands, basket sizes, and wattage. Instead of generic recipes, users pick their exact model (or enter wattage and basket volume), then run a quick “calibration cook” using common foods (frozen fries, chicken nuggets, veggies). The app learns how that specific unit behaves and generates reliable time/temperature curves and shake/flip reminders tailored to the user’s fryer and portion size. It also supports altitude adjustments and preheat behavior, then saves presets for repeatable results. This is not a full recipe platform; it’s a practical tool to stop burning food or undercooking it. Optional community sharing lets users publish verified settings for specific models and brands, with confidence scores based on repeat results.
