CritDeck

CritDeck is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for K–12 and college art teachers to run structured critiques and assess portfolios without drowning in photos, rubrics, and vague feedback. Students upload work-in-progress and final pieces, then CritDeck guides peer critique with prompts tailored to the assignment (composition, value, typography, etc.). An AI assistant helps teachers generate rubric-aligned feedback starters, flag missing requirements, and summarize common class-wide issues—while keeping the teacher in control. The app produces clean critique notes, progress timelines, and exportable assessment reports for parents/admin. This is not a “make art with AI” toy; it’s workflow software for real classrooms where time is the bottleneck. Expect adoption to be slow unless you nail privacy, school IT constraints, and a dead-simple onboarding flow.
