CriticCoach is a mobile AI app that helps users catch, label, and rewrite harsh self-talk in the moment—without pretending everything is fine. You paste or dictate the exact thought (e.g., “I’m a failure”), and the app identifies the distortion, the likely trigger, and offers 2-3 alternative rewrites in your own tone: compassionate, neutral, or “tough but fair.” It also trains a personal “critic profile” over time (common phrases, themes, situations) and gives short, targeted drills (60–120 seconds) to reduce rumination and shame spirals. A weekly report shows patterns and measurable progress (frequency, intensity ratings, recovery time). This is not therapy and doesn’t claim to treat mental illness; it’s a practical self-coaching tool for everyday self-worth maintenance.
