CritiqueLoop is a mobile + web app for getting high-quality, structured critique on artworks, portfolios, exhibition proposals, and grant applications. Users upload images or PDFs, choose a critique framework (composition, narrative, historical context, accessibility, market readiness), and request feedback from vetted reviewers: practicing artists, curators, educators, and collectors. It’s not a generic comment thread—responses must follow rubrics, include actionable edits, and can be delivered as annotated overlays or time-stamped notes. An AI copilot helps reviewers draft clearer feedback and helps artists turn critique into a prioritized revision checklist, but humans remain the source of judgment. The app also supports recurring “critique circles” with lightweight scheduling and accountability. Realistically, the challenge is supply: you must recruit and retain credible reviewers and enforce quality, otherwise it becomes noisy and useless.
