CritNight

CritNight is a mobile + web app for capturing, organizing, and closing the loop on post-show notes (“notes sessions”) for theater and performance teams. During a run, directors and stage managers can log notes live by department (acting, lighting, sound, costumes, props, front-of-house), attach timestamps, photos, and quick voice snippets, and assign owners with due dates. Cast and crew get a clean, prioritized checklist instead of chaotic group chats and scattered emails. The app tracks what was fixed, what’s recurring, and what keeps slipping, producing a simple trend report that helps teams stop repeating the same mistakes. It’s intentionally lightweight: it doesn’t try to replace your whole production workflow—just the messy, high-frequency notes cycle that happens every night. Works offline in venues with bad reception and syncs when back online.
