CritterTriage

CritterTriage is a mobile app (with optional web portal) for owners of rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and other small mammals who struggle to judge how serious symptoms are. You answer a short, structured questionnaire (e.g., appetite, droppings, breathing, posture, temperature if available), upload a quick video, and the app generates a clear risk level: “monitor,” “book a vet within 24–48h,” or “urgent/emergency.” It also produces a concise, vet-friendly summary you can share, plus species-specific immediate steps that are safe (e.g., hydration guidance, warming, isolation) and explicit “do not do” warnings. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps interpret patterns and video cues, but the logic is constrained by veterinary-reviewed protocols. It’s not a replacement for a vet; it’s a decision-support tool to reduce deadly delays and unnecessary panic visits.
