CrowdCue

CrowdCue is a mobile + web app for hosting live-event watch parties where the host can trigger synchronized “moments” that everyone sees and reacts to at the same time—without trying to illegally restream video. It works as a second-screen companion: you pick the event (game, awards show, esports match), invite friends, and CrowdCue aligns everyone using lightweight time-sync (manual offset + audio fingerprint option where permitted). Hosts can launch polls, predictions, chants, and quick mini-games tied to key moments (timeouts, halftime, intermissions). The app generates a shareable highlight recap of the group’s reactions (emoji bursts, votes, voice notes) and a scoreboard for bragging rights. Monetization is via host subscriptions, branded templates for creators, and event-based sponsorship packs. It’s realistic because it avoids the hardest licensing problem: streaming the content itself.
