CrowdPinch
CrowdPinch helps venue and facility operators detect, quantify, and resolve movement chokepoints using existing cameras and simple floor plans. You upload a basic map, define zones (entrances, corridors, concessions, stairs), and connect RTSP/IP camera feeds. The system computes occupancy, flow direction, dwell time, and “pinch scores” that highlight where people slow, bunch, or reverse. It then recommends practical interventions (open a second door, move a stanchion, change queue routing, stagger staff breaks) and lets you run A/B tests during live operations. Alerts trigger when thresholds are exceeded, with an incident log for after-action review. This is not magic: accuracy depends on camera placement and lighting, and it won’t replace on-the-ground staff. But it can give operators earlier warning and clearer evidence of what actually caused congestion.
