CueCast

CueCast is a web + mobile app that gives broadcast teams a reliable, low-latency way to run cues, rundowns, and talkback notes when talent and crew are remote or split across locations. Producers can push timed cues ("30s to break", "roll VT", "wrap") that appear instantly on talent phones/tablets and in a browser panel, with read receipts and escalation if someone misses it. It also includes a lightweight rundown view synced to the cue timeline, plus a “panic mode” that surfaces the next three critical actions when things go off-script. This is not a full NRCS replacement; it’s a focused layer that works alongside what stations already use. The MVP should integrate with common timing sources (NTP) and optionally accept simple triggers via webhook from automation or streaming tools.
